Brian started playing guitar at the age of 10, and has never put it down yet. Fluent in Jazz, Blues, Reggae, and
good old Rock and Roll, he has tapped into every genre of music and has learned from some of the best guitar
instructors. Brian has taken private guitar instruction since the very beginning and played in several bands
throughout his 16 years of experience. While at college for a music major in Tempe,AZ, his band
went on to tour and his destiny left him in Prescott, Az, where he is still enrolled in private instruction and music courses at Yavapai College.

Brian has taught lessons for the better part of 6 years. Teaching from ages 13-63, his teaching ability is unmached
by those around him. His teaching agenda includes; Chords, Scales, Arpeggios, Inversions, Tablature, and Chart
Reading. Aside from learning the basics to advanced guitar playing, he also teaches a wide range of guitar effect
uses and their proper placement in songs. Above all of these, Brian will teach the student to understand what it is
like playing with other musicians and how to help them follow their goals when it comes to playing the guitar.
Brian is a writer, recording engineer, music producer, band manager and front man of the local band Spafford,
lead guitar player for the local band The Cheektones, and lead guitar player for the local church AELC.
